The aggrieved party filed a complaint against 32-year-old Bhagwanti Kalwar, the director of Sree Ram Janaki English Boarding School, Sakhuwa Prasauni Rural Municipality-5 Mahuwan on March 28 accusing her of making a 7-year-old boy work on house construction.
The victim’s father, Chandan Shah Godh alleged that his son studying in class LKG at Shree Ram Janaki English Boarding School fell down and got seriously injured after the school management made him work on the construction of a house while he had gone to school on March 24.
He added that the victim is being treated at LS Neuro and General Hospital, Parwanipur Rural Municipality, Parsa. The victim had 28 stitches on his head.
Regarding the allegation, the accused Bhagwanti Kalwar said that she did not engage any child in the construction work. She added that the incident took place when the victim was preparing to celebrate Holi at the place where the building was being constructed. He accidently fell down and got injured. She further explained that she has been treating the child since the day he was injured.
Inspector Mohan Bikram KC of the Area Police Office, Pokhariya said that the investigation on the incident is ongoing.
