Police have arrested Sunil Magar, 21, of Dudhpokhari Rural Municipality-3, Lamjung Dudhpokhari Rural Municipality-6 on April 1, 2022, on the charge of raping a 17-year-old girl.
DSP Yubaraj Khadka of the District Police Office, Tanahun, told INSEC the victim lodged a complaint against the accused at the Area Police Office on March 31 stating that he had raped her on the same day. He further said that the incident was being investigated.
The victim has been examined at Damauli Hospital on March 31.
