Police have arrested Ramakant Sapkota, 49, of Baglung Municipality-2 on March 29 on the charge of attempting to rape a 27-year-old woman.
Inspector Bijay Bhandari of the District Police Office, Baglung, told INSEC that the victim had lodged a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office, Baglung on March 28, alleging that the accused had attempted to rape her on March 28.
He said that they have arrested the accused and are investigating the incident.
The health checkup of the victim was conducted at Dhaulagiri Hospital, Baglung on March 29.
