Police have arrested Tilak Shahi, 60, of Chure Rural Municipality-4 on March 27, 2022 on the charge of raping an 11-year-old girl.
According to the victim’s mother, she was raped on March 26 and the complaint was filed against the accused at the Area Police Office, Malakheti on the same day.
According to SI Narendra Singh Bhandari of Area Police Office, Malakheti, the accused was arrested on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim. A case was filed against the accused at the District Court. The accused has been remanded to judicial custody on March 27.
The health checkup of the victim was conducted at Seti Provincial Hospital, Dhangadhi on March 27.
