Police have arrested Prakash Shrestha, 37, of Ramechhap Municipality-8, Bhangeri on the charge of attacking his wife Namrata Shrestha, 28, with a sharp weapon and injuring her.
He had also injured himself by slitting his throat.
According to Inspector Tej Prasad Kandel of the District Police Office, Shrestha was injured while trying to slit his wife’s throat in a domestic dispute after consuming alcohol.
Both of them are undergoing treatment at the District Hospital, Ramechhap.
