Police have arrested Rahim Jullah Musalman, 20, of Rohini Rural Muniicipality-5 on January 16, 2022 on the charge of attempting to rape a 26-year-old woman.
The victim has lodged a complaint at the District Police Office, Rupandehi on January 16 alleging that the accused had tried to rape her on January 14.
DSP Nawaratna Poudel of the District Police Office told INSEC that the action was taken on the basis of the complaint lodged by the victim.
The victim has been examined at Bhim Hospital, Bhairahawa on January 14.
