Police have arrested a 17-year-old boy of Malika Rural Municipality-4 on September 4, 2021, on the charge of raping a 15-year-old girl.
According to Inspector Birendra Raj Gurung of the District Police Office, Myagdi, the victim was raped on January 15, 2021, by the accused and the complaint was filed on September 4.
He said that the victim did not disclose the incident due to intimidation and threats.
Police have arrested the accused and are conducting further investigation, added Inspector Gurung.
The victim was examined at Beni Hospital on September 4.
