INSEC has provided NRs. 10,000 to the family of a four-year-old rape victim. The family was provided with the amount for supporting them during the judicial process.
A complaint was filed at the District Police Office on August 12, 2021, alleging that the victim was raped by a 37-year-old relative. Police had arrested the accused from his house on August 13. The victim was examined at Gulmi Hospital, Tamghas on August 13.
The victim’s mother had urged INSEC Gulmi District Representative on August 14 saying that their house was far from the district headquarters and due to their fragile financial status, they were having difficulties in completing the legal formalities at the police office and court.
Similarly, the District Police Office, Gulmi had urged INSEC on August 16 to support the victim’s family.
INSEC District Representative Toplal Aryal met the victim and her mother at the District Police Office and provided the amount of assistance. The victim’s mother expressed her gratitude towards INSEC for the support.
