Shiva Parajuli, 24, of Pokhara Metropolitan City-5 was injured during a protest against the government’s ordinance on the provisions related to the party split of the Political Parties Act-2017.
The protest took place in Pokhara Metropolitan City on August 18, 2021.
Parajuli is also a member of the ANNFSU-Kaski District Office was injured when police intervened in an after-rally addressing assembly at Bhimsen Chowk in Pokhara jointly organized by the CPN-UML-affiliated National Youth Association Nepal and ANNFSU.
According to Parajuli, he was hit on the head by the police during the after-rally addressing assembly. He was treated at Om Hospital, Pokhara. Bijay Poudel, the coordinator of ANNFSU Kaski, said that the police had suddenly intervened in the assembly during a peaceful protest.
