A complaint has been filed against Deepak Bahadur Gurdhami, 29, of Kedarsyu Rural Municipality-6 of Bajhang District at the District Police Office, Kailali on August 3, 2021, on the charge of raping a 23-year-old girl.
The sister-in-law of the victim told INSEC that the accused had raped her on July 30 at Dhangadi Submetropolitan-2 and she had filed a complaint on August 2 but it was registered only on August 3.
DSP Pratik Bista of the District Police Office, Kailali said that a search was on for the accused as he was absconding. According to the police, the victim underwent a medical examination at Seti Provincial Hospital, Dhangadhi on August 3.
