The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 275,118 after additional 48 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on March 12, 2020. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 271,177 of the total infected have recovered. On March 12, the rate of recovery reached 98.6% along with the 61 latest recovered. According to the Ministry, 2,512 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 3,012. There are 929 in isolation.
