The network of NGOs of Nepal has submitted a report of Human Rights on 6 July to the United Nations Human Rights Council for Universal Periodic Review (UPR).
On their behalf, INSEC, the secretariat of NGOs network, Women Collation and DRCFC submitted the report to Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights for the third cycle review of Nepal.
In this network, there are 440 member NGOs, informed INSEC. The report reflects an overview of the human rights situation in Nepal.
The report consists of references related to National Human Rights Institutions, Human Rights Defenders, Extra-Judicial Killing, Transitional Justice’s situation, informed Samjha Shrestha, Senior Officer of the network’s secretariat INSEC.
