Police have rescued 16 years old girl from Belahiya Check-point, Bhairahawa on May 9 while she was attempted to be trafficked in India by luring her of good job in India.
Police have arrested 34 years old Khagendra Prasad Pandey of Kathmandu Metropolitan-16, Kapan on charge of his involvement in the incident.
The victim said that the accused had also raped the girl by luring her of better job after taking her to a hotel. DSP Dilli Narayan Pandey of DPO Rupendehi said that the accused was arrested and victim was rescued in suspicion of being trafficked.
The victim underwent health checkup t Bhim Hospital Bhairahawa on May 9.
