Police have arrested Sunil Chaudhary, 20, of Itahari Sub-Metropolitan-14 on October 2, 2021, on charges of raping a 24-year-old woman.
The victim had lodged a complaint against the accused at the Area Police Office, Itahari on October 1.
DSP Narendra Kumar Karki of the District Police Office told INSEC that the accused was arrested on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim.
The health examination of the victim has been conducted at the District Hospital on October 2.
