Police have arrested 25 years old Nimu Sherpa of Siddhicharan Municipality-5 of Okhaldhunga on July 13 on charge of attempting to traffick 18 years old girl to Gorakhpur of India through Behaliya check post by pretexting her of good job.
The step sister of the victim absconded from the incident site according to DSP Bel Bahadur Pandey.
According to Pandey, the rescued girl is kept at Re habilitation center and will be handed over to the family soon.
