Three disabled brothers and sisters from a same family at Karmarog Village council-6 has been deprived of disabled allowances because of not getting identity card provided by the government.
Tshering Putik Lama, 68 of Karmarog village council-6, Yangin Putik Lama, 49 and Dorje Lama, 41 are deprived of getting services provided by the government due to the Women and children office failed to provide ID card to the victims.
The victims have been living, depending on villagers as they do not have any support. Among these victims, Tshering is visual impaired, his sister is mentally retarded and his brother is a patient of paralysis.
They are not able to come to the district headquater to make an ID card. They would have recieved at least Rs 1000 a month if they had ID card.
Chief Hasina Subedi Parajuli of Women and children office said that she did not know about the incident. She added that mobile camp will be operated immidiately after the local level election. She added that the family of disabled people can be provided ID card on behalf of them at any time if they are able to bring evidences from doctor.
