Police have arrested Padam Bahadur Bhujel, 33, of Itahari Submetropolitan-3 on September 19, 2021, on the charge of sexually abusing a 17-year-old girl.
The accused had lured the victim into getting married and abused her sexually on September 17. The victim had filed a complaint against the accused on September 18 at the Area Police Office.
Inspector Kamal Thakur of the District Police Office told INSEC that the accused was arrested from Aathrai Rural Municipality-1 based on the complaint filed by the victim.
The health checkup of the victim was conducted on September 18 at the District Hospital.
