Members of the Nepal Student Union (NSU) sabotaged the office of TU’s Vice-Chancellor Dharma Kanta Baskota and also burnt his chair.
They had reached his office on 24 June 2020 with a purpose to submit a memorandum but instead destroyed his office and burnt his chair, informed Registrar Peshal Niraula to INSEC’s representative.
NSU had requested Tribhuwan University not to organize the Senet meeting without a student representative, informed chairperson Rajiv Dhungana. He added that instead of making the online classes effective, they are only publicizing it and the Vice-Chancellor along with other officers were not interested in listening to them for betterment.
