Due to her weak economic condition, a 32-year-old woman who is a survivor of violence was provided financial assistance of Rs. 10,000 through the Human Rights Assistance Fund by INSEC Madhesh Province Office on June 18, 2026, to help her pursue legal proceedings.
The survivor had submitted an application to the Rautahat District Representative on May 6, 2026, requesting financial support. According to Province Coordinator Raju Paswan, the recommendation for assistance was forwarded to the INSEC Madhesh Province Office by the Office of Chandrapur Municipality–3.
The survivor of domestic violence had filed a divorce case against her husband, Bhum Bahadur Waiba, 35, at the District Court in Gaur on March 15, 2026. As the case is currently under judicial consideration, she stated that financial hardship had made it difficult for her to continue the legal process. The survivor expressed that the financial support provided by INSEC would offer much-needed relief and help her pursue the case.
