A complaint has been filed against Chhathu Paswan (25) of Baragadi rural municipality-4, Sukhipathara, at the District Police Office on August 19 in accusation of attempting to rape a 20-year-old pregnant woman.
DSP Gautam Mishra of the District Police Office said that further investigation is underway by registering a complaint on the basis of the incident.
According to DSP Mishra, the accused was arrested by the Area Police Office on August 18 and handed over to the District Police Office.
The victim side had filed a complaint on August 18 at the District Police Office, informed DSP Mishra.
Health checkup of the victim was conducted on August 18.
