Police has arrested a 45-year-old father on 8 March 2020 accusing him of raping his 14-year-old daughter.
The victim had been raped several times in the past two years. This time the victim was raped on 6 March. The complaint was filed at the Metropolitan Police Circle, Lalitpur on 7 March. The accused was arrested from his room on 8 March. A case was filed at Lalitpur District Court and they victim was kept in judicial custody for further investigation, informed DSP Mitra Bandhu Sharma.
Health checkup of the victim was conducted on 8 March at Patan Hospital Lalitpur.
