Court has declared sixteen years’ imprisonment to Tej Bahadur Karki, 49 of Dharan Sub Metropolitan- 14 on 5 January for raping a 25 years old woman.
The declaration was made in the session of Justice Radha Krishna Uprety informed Shrestedar Narendra Keshari Pokharel.
The victim was raped on 10 January 2019 and a complaint was filed against him on 12 January 2019 at the Area Police Office, Dharan. He was arrested on 2 January from his residence and is under custody for investigation. The victim had a health checkup on 12 January 2019 at BP Koirala Health Science Academy Ghopa, Dharan.
