Two of the selected polling stations hosting the by-election for the post of ward chairperson at Kohalpur Municipality- 6, are found sensitive as per the Area Police Office, Kohalpur.
InspectorSantosh Rokka, of Area police office said that the one polling station and two voting booths for coming by-election going to be held on 30 November are found sensitive from security point of view.
A team of eleven armed police and five Nepal Police have been providing security to the chief booth officer’s office established on 6 November.
According to Chief Election Officer, Khom Prasad Subedi, in this by-election 2 thousand and 26 voters will be participating. of which 1 thousand and 49 of them are females and 9 hundred and 27 are males.
