The rape case against 31 years old Darshan Mandal of Sambhunath Municipality-7 Saptari put on hold by the verdict of Saptari District Court on 16th July, 2019. He is accused of raping 14 years old girl child. A single bench of District Court judge Jawaharprasad Singh has given the verdict.
Though the case was lodged against accused on 10th January, 2019, at Area Police Office Kalyanpur, he is absconding since the incident. So arrest warrant is made on 17th January, 2018. After victim child told her parents about being raped time and again since July 21, 2018 she was taken to Gajendranarayan Singh Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital Rajbiraj on 10th January, 2018.
