The patients at Kedarakhada Primary Health Center in Bogtan Pudshil Rural Municipality are facing crisis for one year due to the vacate post of the doctors. The posts for the doctors remain vacant for a long time violating the right to health of the people provided by the constitution of Nepal.
There are posts for 12 staffs including one MBBS doctor in this health center however the post for doctor remain vacant for a long time and patients are facing crisis due to this.
Local Padam Raj Joshi said that remaining staff are also irregular in the health center. Locals have to go to District Headquarter of Silgadhi for the treatment of even minor ailment.
Doctors denies to come to this health center due to the geographical proximity according to the chairperson Kamal Bahadur Gadhshila of the Rural Municipality.
A coordination with the provincial government is undergoing to solve the issue according to the administrative office Shanker Suchikar of the Rural Municipality.
