The victim’s party of 23 years old Rinki Devi Yadav have complained that she was beaten severely by her husband Ram Bishwash Ray Yadav, 29 of Kaudena Rural Municipality-5 on charge of not bringing cash in a dowry on May 12. The victim’s party said that the accused had attempted to kill her by strangulating however, the police administration remains silent on this issue.
The victim Yadav received treatment at District Hospital of Sarlahi and further referred to India for treatment according to the victim’s party. The victim’s party complained that police is silent on this issue and they have not arrested the accused yet.
The victim’s father Ramesh Ray Yadav said that his daughter is tortured from a long time by the accused.
The victim’s party had already lodged complaint at District Administration Office and District Police Office however no action is taken yet. The couple were married in a Hindu religion a year ago.
