Police have arrested Sapana Bhandari, 28 of Chatreswori Rural Municipality-6 on May 28 on charge of killing seven months old daughter.
The victim was beaten to death and after receiving the information about the incident, the accused was arrested from the incident site by the police deployed from temporary police post of Lanti.
The postmortem of the body will be conducted at District Hospital of Salyan and the incident is under further investigation according to the DSP Birendra Bahadur Shahi of DPO.
