Patients at western Rolpa are facing difficulties due to the lack of medicines at Rank Health Post.
Local Durgesh Oli said that there are only Citamol and Brufin tablets. He added that viral fever patients are also given only Citamol and they are not recovering from the ailment.
Patients of viral fever, which has spread from the last week, are facing difficulty after they could not get a proper medicine on time.” There is no medicine at Health Posts. It is very far to go out for treatment and there is no transportation due to bad road condition”, said local Khagendra Oli.
Some patients are compelled to stay at home suffering from ailment as it is almost impossible to go to the health post by walking, said Oli.
District Public Health chief, Dr Bhawani Prasad Sharma said that no one came from that health post to get the medicine, which is creating shortage. He added that most of the medicines are stored at District Hospital as no one come to take the medicine.
