Police have arrested 40 years old husband Tejendra Devkota of Musikot Municipality-1 on April 23 on charge of beating 40 years old wife Bishnu Devkota. The victim said that she was being beaten by the accused in a daily basis in an inebriated state.
The victim on a same day lodged complaint at police and based on her complaint the accused was arrested for further investigation according to police.
The victim woman underwent health checkup at District Hospital of Salle. Prior to this incident, the accused was already arrested by the police on charge of beating his wife and was released on a bail amount of Rs 10,000.
