Human Rights violation decreases in Parbat: Stakeholders

Informal Sector Service Center (INSEC) has organized interaction program on human rights situation of Parbat on April 23 with various stakeholders.

During the discussion program, the stakeholders said that the human rights year book has played a vital role to minimize the human rights violation.

The program was participated by INSEC Gandaki provincial coordinator Shiva Khakurel, political advisor Tron Lovdal of Norwegian embassy, human rights activists and stakeholders of the district. The effect of human rights year book was discussed during the program.

During the discussion session, CDO Guru Datta Dhakal of Parbat said that he is always committed for the protection of human rights in the district. He added that the concerned bodies have been directed to work by giving human rights as first priority. He recommended that Human Rights Year Book must include the serious issue of social violence prevailing in the society.

Chief Shyam Aryal of District Police Office of Parbat said that Police is always committed on protection and promotion of Human rights of people.

The participants said that the human rights year book is playing vital role in minimizing human rights violation incidents. They said that the Human Rights Book is proved to be a means to highlight the human rights situation of particular district and the overall situation of the country.
