Police have arrested 47 years old Som Bahadur Rai of Itahari Municipality-20 on charge of attacking and injuring his wife and daughter with Khukuri.
On April 2, he attacked his wife Krishna Kumari Rai and 21 years old daughter Sunita with sharp weapon in an inebriated state. Both of them are seriously injured in an attack and the accused was arrested by the police on a same day according to inspector Buddhi Chaulagain of Area Police Office.
They sustained serious injuries on their throat and receiving treatment at District Hospital of Inaruwa.
