The pregnant women in at Simkot Rural Municipality-7 are facing difficulties on treatment from the last five months after there are not health professionals at Area Health Post.
ANM Ramita Rokaya and Basanti Rawat are absent in the health post from the last five months and patients are facing difficulties.
After these two ANM are in leave, the patients are compelled to walk for one day to reach District Hospital for treatment according to local Ishara Singh.
In Dandaphaya Area Health posts, there are health professionals for the treatment for other kinds of ailment however for the issue of gynecology, there are no doctors.
Women patients said that they do not feel comfortable to get checkup from the male doctors. There are two posts for the ANM in the health post however both of them are in leave, Health coordinator Dhruba Raj Singh of Simkot Rural Municipality said that the Rural Municipality have decided to call them back from leave however the process is delayed due to some technical issue.
