Police have arrested 40 years old Ganga Giri of Dhangadhi sub metropolis-5 on March 4 on charge of caste-based discrimination on one Dalit woman who was in a temple premises to worship on the occasion of Shivaratri.
The local woman was in a temple for worshiping and she was discriminated by the accused based on her caste with a foul language according to victim Ashu Tamrakar.
The victim on a same day lodged complaint at District Police Office against the accused. DSP hari bahadur Oli of DPO said that the accused was arrested by the police for the investigation.
