Ghorahi Sub-metropolis have rescued at least 14 child laborers from various industry and shops of Ghorahi sub metropolis and handed over to their parents on December 18.
The sub-metropolis has spent one month to rescue child laborers from various part before handing over them to their parents. It has already rescued 120 child laborers with the campaign to make it child friendly sub-metropolis.
The rescued children are Sandeep Pariyar, Bikash B.K, Sagar Budathoki, Chanda B.K, of Ghorahi sub-metropolis-14, Dhan Bahadur Dangi, Kamal Sarki, Asirbad Chaudhary, Milan Pariyar, Prem B.K and Tulsa B.K.
These rescued children were provided with two sets of school uniform, bag, copy and pen and their parents were handed over with Rs 15,000 each according to Ghorahi sub-metropolitan chief Naru Lal Chaidhary.
The sub-metropolis has even admitted the children in the school nearby.
