Police have arrested 19 years old Niranjan Shah of Rajgadh Rural Municipality-3 on September 4 on charge of raping 16 years old girl after taking her in hostage and even marrying her.
He was arrested after the victim’s mother lodged complaint at police office according to SP Rajendra Bista. The victim’s mother said that the accused had lured the girl and marriedher with the help of acquaintances August 12. She was then abducted and was raped after taking her hostile.
She underwent health checkup at Gajendra Narayan Singh Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital on September 4.
