Police have arrested teacher Basanta KC on charge of stabbing and injuring eight years old girl Basrsa Gharti of Malla Rani Rural Municipality-2.
The accused is a teacher at Amar Secondary School in Chuja. On August 23 he tortured Gharti who is studying at standard two by showing knife according to the victim’s family.
The victim was injured after a knife is put at her cheek on charge of not doing homework. She is undergoing treatment at District Hospital of Bijuwar and further referred to medical college in Bhairahawa. Police have arrested the accused after the complaint was lodged at District Police Office on September 2 according to DSP Nirmal Budathoki.
