Police have arrested 30 years old Ganesh Aryal of Kushma Municipality-1 Pang on August 28 on charge of beating Manrupa Sharma Subedi, chair of women network of the district in the police premises.
The victim complained that she was beaten by the accused while discussing over the complaint lodged by Menaka Aryal, a first wife of the accused on August 27.
According to the victim, the first wife of the accused had lodged complaint at Inter-party women network against him for domestic violence and polygamy and she was at District Police Office of discuss on a same issue.
The accused was aggressive and attacked the victim during the discussion according to Subedi.
