Informal Sector Service Center (INSEC) has organized half yearly review of Human Rights Year Book-2019 on June 20 in Sandhikharka.
Speaking at the program, CDO Shanker Bhushal showed his commitment on promotion and protection of human rights. He thanked INSEC for its contribution on highlighting the incidents of human rights violation and atrocities.
Inspector Khim Bahadur Gharti of DPO said that the presented incidents have also helped to make the administration aware. He added that the continuity of INSEC in the field of human rights have added extra motivation on him. Chairperson Him Bahadur GC of FNJ stressed on working jointly as both journalists and INSEC has a same working pattern. He praised INSEC for its continuous contribution in the field of human rights of the country.
During the review, INSEC district representative Narayan Bhushal presented half yearly report on the human rights situation of the district. The report highlighted that during the period, there were 13 incidents of rape and attempted rape, 41 of domestic violence and 2 of killings.
