The district Court of Rasuwa has ordered to sentence two people for five years each after finding them guilty on misbehaving Radha Glan Tamang,37 of Naukunda Rural Municipality-5 alleging her of being witch.
A single bench of district court judge Babu Ram Subedi had given the verdict regarding the case. The convicts are acquaintances of the victim. The convicted are 52years old Shanta Bahadur Glan and his 20 years old son Santosh Glan.
The victim was alleged of being witch and was misbehaved by the convicts on October 18. She was severely beaten and underwent treatment in Green City hospital in Kathmandu.
