Patients are facing crisis due to the lack of doctors in the District Hospital of Kalikot since three months.
Chief, Kaushal Oli of the hospital was misbehaved by the cadres of Nepal Communist party three months ago. The doctor is in holiday since then showing the reason of security and since then the hospital is facing crisis of health professionals. Since five months, the X-ray, operation and other services has been disrupted in the hospital and patients are compelled to go to Nepalgunj for treatment.
There are three posts for doctors in the hospital and all were vacant however one doctor from the organization named Nick Simons was providing service. After the misbehavior, doctors went to other districts according to acting Chief Katak Mahat of the district hospital.
