In mountainous district of Humla, snowfall has started from the morning of November 17. The officials said that the snowfall might affect the election. The temperature has decreased in the district.
In district headquarter of Simkot and northern parts of the district such as Limi, Muchu Khagalgaun, Syandada, Hepka, the snowfall has begun.
It is almost certain that there will be snow fall on first phase of election that is scheduled for November 26. At least 10 polling centers under Namkha rural municipality have a high risk of snowfall.
Chief District Officer and chairperson of Security committee, Laxmi Prasad Baskota said that polling staffs and security personnel are finding difficulties on reaching the polling centers due to the snowfall.
It will take at least six days to reach the polling centers and chopper has been demanded however the demand is not fulfilled yet according to Chief polling officer Medini Sharma Paudel.
