A code of conduct monitoring committee has been formed in the district in order to restrict activities against it. The committee is formed targeting the upcoming HoR and state assembly elections.
The committee was formed on November 8 in coordination of CDO Laxmi Prasad Baskota. The team consist of INSEC district representative Nanda Singh , representatives from Radio Karnali, Radio Kailash, inspector Bishnu Bahadur Singh from security , Tilak KC from National Investigation Office , woman officer from Women and Children Office along with the representatives from political parties.
The committee had urged political parties not to use children during their election campaign according to CDO Laxmi Prasad baskota.
