Various eighteen organizations including INSEC have jointly organized a program in the district to mark Food Rights Day on October 16.
Speaking at the program, Chief District Officer Govinda Prasad Rijal stressed on coordination of government and non-government organization to minimize food in security and ensuring the citizen’s food rights. He also informed about the food rights situation of the district.
Another speaker Yuv Raj Pandey, senior officer of District Agriculture Office said that the food security can be increase if the government policies is made on production and manpower in agriculture field.
