There has been serious medicine crunch in Bhagwanpur health post of the district despite of government announcement of providing free medicine. There has been a severe crisis of medicine in remote part of Bhagwanpur health post according to senior Health Assistant Nanda Kishore Chaudhary.
A team of human rights activist and media personnel have found that there was a crisis of iron tablets since 15 days during their field monitoring at health post.
Similarly, other medicine such as CItamol including contraceptives are out of stock. The birthing center is in operation and only one ANM and AHW are available which has affected the health service.
