Locals of Kharpunath Rural municipality-5 have accused inspector Bishnu Bahadur Singh and DSP Kamal Prasad Nepal of District Police Office of inhumanely treating 28 years old Gajendra Rokaya ad 31 years old Amar AD of the same place.
The locals were staging sit- in-protest in front of the District Administration Office on September 28 demanding the investigation on death of 75 years old and 45 years old Sher Bahadur Rokaya of Kharpunath-5 who died after the stone fell off and hit them on September 25. Locals have accused that they were inhumanely treated and misbehaved by the police in an inebriated state.
CDO Laxmi Prasad Baskota said that he is saddened by the misbehavior of the police administration and said that the accused will be brought under legal boundary so that such incident never repeats in future.
However, DSP Nepal is claiming that he was not in inebriated state when the incident happened.
