There have been difficulties in treating patients in various health organizations of the district due to the shortages in medicine.
Recently, there has been increase in patients suffering from viral fever and patients are referred to the district hospital according to the health in charge of the health organization.
Doctor Mukti Nath Shah of District Hospital said that there has been shortage of medicine in District Hospital as well. He added that concerned department and sector has been informed about the situation however no medicine is available yet.
The District Hospital said that the number of patients have been increased recently in emergency ward. The government has decided to provide 70 types of free medicines from District Hospital and 35 from the health posts however the health organizations have failed to provide it due to the lack of medicine.
