The District Court of Udayapur has ordered to sentence 24 years old Gyan Bahadur Karki alias Ganesh for five years on August 10 along with a compensation of Rs 50,000 after finding him guilty on raping 24 years old woman. Prior to this decision, the accused was released on a bail amount of Rs 30,000.
A single bench of district court judge Raj Kumar Koirala had given a verdict regarding the case. The accused had raped a woman on July 29, 2015 at Sikkim Hotel and Lodge in Katari Municipality-9 of Udayapur.
