The District Court of Salyan has ordered to sentence a couple for one year along with Rs 5,000 on charge of polygamy.
Kabi Raj Nepali, 19 of Dhorchaur Village council-5 and Geeta B.K, 20 of the same village council were sentenced for one year along with the penalty of Rs 5,000 each.
The victim Geeta Nepali, 20 said that the accused had married one month ago. The victim had lodged a complaint against the accused on June 18.
