Police said that the cadres of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) have exploded a bomb in three different places in the district.
One bomb was exploded near Deepak Secondary School booth at Madane Village council-7 and another at ward number 6 according to the police. Both bombs were exploded at night.
Polling Officer Tara Bahadur Raut said that the objective of the explosion is to terrorize the locals. “There was a tremor in the village at night”. He added whether it is bomb or other kind of explosive is yet to be identified.
Similarly, the group has exploded another bomb near Timmurkharka polling center. Police chief Digbijaya Subedi said that the investigation is underway.
The direction has been given to the police for immediate search for those involved in the incident according to police Chief Bhola Rawal. There have been some incidents of anti-election activities by the party in previous occasion.
