Recently elected ward candidate ram Bahadur Rawat of Khatyan Village council -8 has asked for the security from the local administration after an unidentified people have threatened him for life on the night of June 23.
He was threatened by a group of two people while he was sleeping at night in rented ward office building.
Chairman Rawat said that an unidentified people asked him to open the door while he was sleeping at night and attempted to break the window after the door was not opened.
DSP Sharada Prasad Chaudhary of DPO said that the incident is under investigation.
